I always love to visit Venice.
After a long first day touring Venice with friends, I visited somewhere else the next day, so no pictures of Venice from that particular day. The third morning, my train pulled in to Venice at dawn after an overnight ride (my favorite kind) and I spent much of the morning just wandering around Venice bleary eyed, fairly aimlessly. That may sound inefficient, but that is when I usually get my best shots and have the best time. Then, I spent much of the day there.
These first views are of the causeway from the mainland, all taken from the train. The shots are in no particular order beyond that, though, because I don't want this to be simply a record of my walk that day, but a kaleidoscope of various scenes.
If you like any of the pictures and want to use it for something, just drop me a comment and I doubt it would be a problem.
I love to photograph cats, Italy has lots of the best!
